The audio engine reproduces each sample using advanced, uncompressed 24-bit streaming technology, giving you the full warmth and detail of vintage tape without any of the drawbacks such as pitch instability or wear and tear.EXPANSION SLOT FOR 100 ADDITIONAL SOUNDSA front-panel slot allows you to load an additional 100 sounds from Mellotron digital Sound Cards. Mellotron currently offers eight Sound Cards on special Compact Flash cards, giving you a total of 800 additional patches to expand your sonic palette for performing and recording. Swapping cards is simple: just insert the card into the keyboard's front-panel slot, use one of two high-quality TFT displays to select the desired sounds, and play.
