GERMAN RARE CHILDREN'S BOOK, 1939. HARDCOVER. " DER VERKANNTE BIMPFI"..
First Printing. Pictorial boards. Tiny cover scuffs, else pristine. Color illustrated. Cute, little German language children's book featuring animated mushrooms.
German artist, Ida Bohatta-Morpurgo (1900-1992) was a widely-read children's book illustrator / author. The book is written in German. Published in Munich.
The book is in almost mint condition...the only problem is the front top of the book is a bit bent from shelf wear. The inside has beautiful color ILLUSTRATIONS. It's a small book, probably about 4-5 inches high.
